Our Group of Seasoned Professionals
Mr. Washburn is our principal attorney. Jonathan graduated cum laude from Davidson College in 1978, and graduated from law school and MBA school from UNC Chapel Hill with JD/MBA in 1982. Jonathan also holds real estate broker’s license for the states of North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of South Carolina, and a Juris Doctor from the
University of South Carolina, School of Law. Prior to joining the law firm of Callison Tighe & Robinson, LLC as an associate in 1997, Stephanie served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Gary E. Clary, South Carolina Circuit Court At-Large. Stephanie has returned to private practice with Washburn Law, PLLC, as Equity Member and
Special Counsel. Her areas of practice included Commercial and Residential Real Estate Transactions, Commercial
Leasing, Title Examinations and Certification, Title Insurance, Real Estate Development, Zoning, Business Law, and Insurance Regulatory Law.
Mr. Croft joined Washburn Law full time in October 2015. He was born in Anderson, South Carolina where he currently resides. He received his bachelor’s degree in English at Lander University and his juris doctorate degree at Western Michigan University’s Law School (formerly the Thomas M. Cooley Law School) in Lansing, MI in 1999.
Mr. Whetstone joined Washburn Law in 2018 after graduating from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He is a real estate attorney licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina, covering locations from Charlotte, NC to Asheville, NC as well as Greenville, SC to Rock Hill, SC.
Mr. Shavo has enjoyed a professional career spanning twenty-five years, including tenures in the tax department of KPMG Peat Marwick, as Chief Clerk of the Orphans’ Court (Probate) of Philadelphia County and in the private practice of law in Pennsylvania and South Carolina. He has been responsible for the closing of thousands of real estate transactions, both commercial and residential.
